04/15/06 - Only a year overdue, the new Othyrworld website has been launched, which includes the Othyrworld forum. Any future news items regarding either Othyrworld or Sacred Blade will now be posted to the forum, and this page will no longer be updated. We invite you to join the forum, which will include areas for your feedback and input into future projects, and general discussion about the band and its projects.

03/17/05 - Opening to a packed house on March 17, 2005, Hadley + Maxwell's We Are Othyrworld made its debut at the Western Front Gallery in Vancouver. Also on display is a 15 minute video interview in which Jeff discusses the many aspects of the art of Sacred Blade/Othyrworld. Read the press release here.

"WE ARE SACRED BLADE" - THE SEQUEL

03/05/05 - Marking our second collaboration with established Canadian artists, OTHYRWORLD will be once again making gallery appearances in a new work by Vancouver team, Hadley + Maxwell, which will debut on March 17 at the Western Front gallery in Vancouver, BC. "We Are OTHYRWORLD", reunites Ted, Jeff and Randy in an homage to Ken Lum's 1990 work. Look for a full story on the session soon.

"WE ARE SACRED BLADE" RETURNS TO TORONTO RETROSPECTIVE

02/10/05 - Making a return to gallery exhibition, world reknowned Vancouver artist Ken Lum's 1990 portrait "We Are Sacred Blade" (see Commandscipt article) is on display at the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery in Toronto as part of a 20 year retrospective, Ken Lum Works with Photography. Sponsored by BMO Nesbitt Burns, organized and circulated by the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, an affiliate of the National Gallery of Canada, the exhibition opened December 11, 2004 and runs through March 6, 2005.

OTHYRWORLD CD SHIPPING

02/08/05 - After years of delays, discs are in house and all paid preorders for the debut OTHYRWORLD CD have shipped. Thank you to those who preordered and helped make this release possible, we look forward to your comments on the new album.

The official release date remains March 13, 2005, and work is underway on the new OTHYRWORLD website to support the release.

SECOND OTHYRWORLD ALBUM BEGINS PRODUCTION

01/31/05 - Work is well underway on the follow up to Beyond Into the Night of Day. We hope to cut the development time drastically, but much will depend on the success and sales of the new album.
