Jeff Ulmer surfaces
again as the leader of an ever changing Sacred Blade, the
B.C. native had an international reputation in the metal underground,
and commanded respect. Othyrworld, his new venture, is a duo completed
by drummer, Ted Zawadzki, in which Ulmer does everything else by himself,
including cover art. The duo remains loyal to its progressive rock roots,
at times recalling Queensryche and at others Blue Oyster Cult - in mood
if not in sound. If it's a fantasy world Ulmer has tried to create,
he has succeeded.
