fieldz the sunshrine
Development notes:
Written in the spring of 1984, fieldz demonstrates the
effect computer science had on me, as I wrote the lyrics after
waking up from a nap in class.
Instrumentation:
- Larrivee D03 - 6 string acoustic guitar
- Larrivee D03R - 6 string acoustic guitar
- Fender Jazz Bass
- Gibson Flying V - 6 string electric guitar
- Gibson Les Paul Classic - 6 string electric guitar
Acoustic guitars were captured using Neumann U87, Sennheiser
ND409 and Lawson L47MP microphones feeding Daking, Avalon and
DW Fearn preamplifiers. Les Paul Deluxe and Fender Stratocastors
were recorded direct input through an Amek/Neve preamplifier.
Gibson Les Paul Classic and Flying V guitars were played
through Marshall amplifiers and captured with Audio Technica 4033
and Sennheiser ND 411 microphones through DW Fearn preamplifiers.
